ALQO WASI is a company which currently works with workshops composed by women from the regions of Puno and Ayacucho. These women with low resources, experts in the technique of weaving in hand looms, hand knitting, hand embroidered and natural dying, come from vulnerable and marginal zones.

Through constant training, these women develop their skills in order to become more productive and competitive in the labor market. In this sense, ALQO WASI gives them the opportunity to develop their creative capabilities through the elaboration of exclusive pet and human products making these women feel more confident in themselves and most important: revaluing the position of women and the important role they carry for the progress of their homes and community.

It is important to mention that all the raw materials and techniques used in the tanning and dyeing process come from the Andean regions of Perú which is emphasize in the prevention of damaging the environment.
