1. Where are you located?
We are located in Lima, Peru.

2. Are you manufacturers?
Yes, we design and manufacture all our products in Peru. Many of them are handmade in Peruvian communities located in the highlands of the Peruvian Mountains, such as Puno and Ayacucho.

3. Could you manufacture my own design?
Although this is not our core business, we are happy to manufacture your own design. If it is possible of course. We can manage prices and special conditions for you. Please contact patricia@alqowasi.com for further information.

4. Where do you ship from?
We ship from Callao, Peru. For small orders, we ship our products by international Express Mail Service (EMS), a function of the Peruvian postal service operated in cooperation with postal services throughout the world. You can contact us to info@alqowasi.com and we will give you the status of your order. If you prefer working with your own delivery service, DHL or UPS, let us know.

5. Are shipping costs included?
No, the delivery cost of your order will be calculated according to the total overall weight and destination postcode. Note: Weights are rounded up to the nearest kilogram in all calculations.

Shipping charges will be added to the order total. For bigger orders in international shipments charges and customs duties might apply.

6. How can I pay for the merchandise?
We are no longer accepting Paypal Payments because Paypal isn´t working with Perú anymore. You can send us a wire to our bank in Perú. We recently opened an account in Bank of America, payments are also accepted through deposits or transfes to this account. We do not accept checks or money orders. ALQO WASI Peruvian Dogwear requires full payment in advance.

7. What is your policy on returns and exchanges?
Claims for damaged, defective, incorrect or missing merchandise must be made within 5 days receipt of order. Before making your return, please be sure to email us to info@alqowasi.com for a return authorization. All items must be in unused condition with all merchandise tags attached. We do not cover shipping charges for retuned items. Personalized items and custom order items are NOT exchangeable or returnable.

As most of our products are individually handmade, all sizes given must be considered as approximations, and minor imperfections and slight variations in color or design from items depicted should be expected.
We encourage you to ask, ask and ask one more time when having any questions, we are always happy to help.

8. What is your policy for refused or undeliverable packages?
All undeliverable packages that require reshipment at the customer's request are subject to a reshipment charge equivalent to the original shipping costs.

9. What is your policy regarding images and descriptions?
ALQO WASI strives to provide accurate and complete descriptions and representations of our products. However, slight color variations may occur due to monitor settings or descriptions may be incomplete or erroneous due to human error. We correct errors immediately once discovered however, we reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions including after an order has been submitted.
Please note that most of our product are hand made and the fibers and fabrics are also hand weaved or loomed in many cases. Shadings and variations are common in hand made products.
